The combination of a great climate, warm sea, and abundance of natural and archaeological points of interest make Turkey’s Turquoise Coast the perfect place to have a holiday. There are hundreds of things for people to see and do on the thousand kilometre shoreline along the Aegean and Mediterranean waters. Called the Turquoise coast because of colour of the sea, the region consists of several major resorts, including Alanya, Antalya, Kemer, Fethiye, Marmaris, Bodrum, Kuşadası and Çeşme. Many people flock to these resorts in the summer months to catch some sun and relax by the beach. With flights taking off to this region every day in the summer there are numerous possibilities for you to discover the Turquoise Coast and its many attractions.
The region is famed for its beauty and it is said that Mark Antony picked the Turkish Riviera as the most beautiful wedding gift Cleopatra. Today this immense beauty can still be seen and the region is also popular with people looking for the perfect honeymoon.
